Kingdom Dub 04:12

about

Recording in 2009-2010 System Shakedown retains the vibes and spirit of Renegade Rocker but branches into a little more of electro sound at the time with dubstep/d&b-ish tracks with Omar Perry , Ragga Twins, U Brown and Ammoye. Other tracks are pure dub/steppers - Kingdom Dub, Struggle, Deep Dark Dub.
I remember being in Vancouver and having to drive to the ferry so I could hitch a ride over to Vancouver for a show. As I'm driving without a map or GPS - just road signs, I get a call from my wife that The Mighty Diamonds were going into the studio that day to record "Give A Helping Hand" in Los Angeles, CA. Being distracted with the call I drive across the Canada/US border. Realizing a went to far - I tried to go through the "show your passport U-turn line". No go. I made the choice to backup and just re-enter Canada the same way I came in. Next thing you know there's cops and car swarming me. Seems like I made the wrong choice haha.
I spent the next hour sitting in the office as they tore the care apart searching for contraband (this is after going frisking me). In the end there was nothing to find but I did have a singers show outfit with me - which happened to be a Red, Green & Gold satin jumpsuit along with a Bible. I can only guess what went through their mind when the found that in the trunk and the guy inside (myself) is wearing a Skull T-shirt.
