Two Tons Of Ska

about

When I first heard ska, it was probably Ghost Town by the Specials, my oldest friend has a copy of the 12” and it was unlike anything I’d heard. It was haunting, captivating, and musically so interesting that I wanted to hear more. From that moment on, like many of you, I tuned in to all the ska that was available.

It also led me to the first wave of ska with The Skatalites, Duke Reid’s label, Prince Buster, and more. Today’s track is a nod to both 1st and 2nd wave ska.

Live bass, keys, guitars percussion. Main horn line and skank by the Booom Hornz
